Well I started my essay finally and I don't know what it is but whenever I start writing it flows pretty well. However I always have the same two problems:
- Trying to avoid rambling too much about nothing or over elaborating one point
- Not baffling people with science! (I mean a continuous flow of really long words)
The second one I've found I need to be especially careful with because apparently due to my generally relaxed attitude the moment I use a decent variety of words from the english language there's a great degreee of speculation as to whether or not it is my work being submitted, or plagiarism. This whole thing gives a inevitably depressing aura by making all students well aware of an expected standard that their work will be before it's even marked (possibly influencing the grade given anyway) and more saddening showing the flaws in society as a whole that each peice of work needs to have so much done to it checking its authenticity just because of certain people before us...
Anyway the point is: after nearly getting thrown out of my house this weekend and even now being in the process of looking at my options for leaving anyway - I've started my work.
Art begins with resistance: at the point where resistance is overcome. No human masterpiece has ever been created without great labor. - Andre Gide
